Vegetable gardens have been a part of my summer for many years, but the hobby started escalating two years ago, when we moved from the suburbs to a rural village. Suddenly I had space for some serious gardening, and so I got serious about it!
The harvesting, cooking, freezing, and canning have taken over my facebook feed, hence the need for a separate medium to record my successes and failures. I hope you all will enjoy my journey, and share yours with me.
This year we added a small green house and a second, smaller vegetable patch to our allotted growing space, which now provides us with more yield than we can eat during the season.
