I was so busy with my tomatoes and cucumbers that I almost missed the beginning of plum, apple and blackberry season! It's always exciting when something new is ready to be harvested.
It feels odd to still be picking strawberries this late in the summer, but the little wild strawberry (smultron) plants yield all summer, unlike their cultivated cousins.
Today we also made currant jelly. First time for me. Keep your fingers crossed!
